The Everett Sports Performance Center LLC, an affiliate of Integrated Rehabilitation Group Inc. (IRG), opened in October 2005. The remodeled former Asian restaurant at Hewitt and Hoyt Streets is 6400 sq. ft. with 17-foot high ceilings - plenty of room for advanced athletic strength and conditioning programs.
Everett Sports Performance LLC is best suited for more advanced training programs. Many patients graduate to ESP once they have met their original goals of rehabilitation at Everett Physical Therapy. At ESP they can continue their training to meet specific athletic goals and maximize their athletic potential. Everett teams including the Silvertips and Hawks, and the Everett Community College athletes receive strength training and conditioning at the facility.
The staff at ESP includes two performance physical therapists, four certified strength and conditioning coaches, 3 athletic trainers, 2 personal trainers and a sports massage therapist.
ESP has clients ranging from 8-year-old ice-skaters to 80-year-old golfers. Specialized camps offered include a Weekly Adult Sport Warrior clinic that works with highly motivated athletes supplementing their existing workout, getting them ready for activities such as hiking, golf, or competing in the STP. Many camps are available for high school and youth sports such as a Pro-hockey camp, which has clients from the Silvertips and other WHL players; the Sky-High jump camp for high-school volleyball players; and various football condition camps. |
