The ASTYM System
ASTYM is a non-invasive treatment proven effective in soft tissue dysfunction. By stimulating the body’s own capacity for healing in patients with soft tissue degeneration such as carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar faciitis, and forms of tendonitis, ASTYM is effective remedy for those in which previous forms of therapy have not worked, or for are those who have improved, but have hit a plateau. The ASTYM helps those patients through the plateau, and eliminate the problem.
“I’m very excited about using the ASTYM system with my patients. I believe it will really help with many chronic and difficult to rehabilitate problems, as well as help speed healing and improve the quality of healing in more acute problems,” stated Haakenson at Silverlake Physical Therapy. “Another positive aspect of ASTYM, is the education of the patient on the processes of healing and how the body works.”
