"This weekend intensive lab focuses on the clinical reasoning and hands-on skill development necessary to effectively integrate manual physical therapy examination and intervention techniques into the clinical management. Classification systems, outcomes assessment tools, and the application of diagnostic imaging are discussed as components of the diagnostic process within the framework of evidence-based practice.
By the end of the course, a successful participant will be able to:
- Conduct a patient centered and skilled examination
- Determine a patient centered and integrative guideline-based diagnosis
- Refine psychomotor relative to examination and intervention delivery
- Prioritize intervention to maximize patient centered effectiveness and efficiency
- Integrate the skilled delivery of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and education into one’s clinical skill set"
