Jalen was born and raised in Washington, specifically from Renton, Washington. He found himself playing almost any sport in the PNW weather (both rain and shine!). Jalen is a proud Washington State University alumnus (GO COUGS!) and son of former WSU player and Pacific Northwest Minor League Football Hall of Fame inductee, Noel Barnes. Outside of the clinic, Jalen can be seen playing volleyball, softball and golf; watching sports; and spending time with his wife, cat, and best friends.
