Kirsten Ross

PT, CAFS, Cert. DN | Sammamish

""I strive to keep my patients comfortable, working at their pace with a little encouragement from me. I am here as a guide to bring out their potential and to consider all possible options for success.""

Kirsten was born and raised in Pretoria, South Africa. Growing up with her father’s medical practice on their property, she was introduced to a love for helping people at a young age and was able to see first hand how the little things done when caring for others can make a big impact.

Kirsten studied BSc Medical Sciences majoring in Anatomy and Physiology and continued to Physiotherapy school, completing her thesis in the effects of KT tape on balance. Soon after graduating she completed her certification in Dry Needling Therapy and also became a certified Pilates Instructor with additional accreditation in Prenatal Pilates. Although both her certifications do not translate to the US, she uses the concepts learned on a daily basis when treating her patients: Core activation and stability, calming and mindfulness techniques, as well as pain reduction without the use of medication.

Kirsten moved to the United States in 2013 when her husband was transferred within his company. They spent five years in Kansas before moving to Washington State in 2018. When not at the clinic, Kirsten spends most of her time keeping up with her two boys and exploring the PNW. She enjoys cooking a variety of dishes, baking, reading, dancing, paddle boarding, walking, hiking, skiing, camping, and traveling.
